New College of Law Building Entrance

Thirty-four years ago, Georgia State University launched a new law school to make a legal education more accessible through a flexible, public full-time and part-time practice-based program in downtown Atlanta. Today, the College of Law is set to transform legal education in Atlanta once again with a new building designed to support the programmatic demands of 21st-century legal instruction.

Our new home features 23 state-of-the-art classrooms, including courtrooms of varying sizes and a 230-seat appellate courtroom for training and special events. The Law Library occupies the top two floors and offer quiet and collaborative workspaces, a casual café and outdoor terrace and a formal reading room.
