Georgia State Law Holds New Building Groundbreaking on Sept. 12

New Building in Daily Report

Georgia State University has set a date, Sept. 12, to break ground for its long-anticipated new law school building, said the dean of GSU’s College of Law, Steven Kaminshine.

Site Location

The location of the new building is located at the corner of Park Place and John Wesley Dobbs Avenue, faced to the west by the Candler Building and to the north by the Georgia Pacific Center. State Bond Sale Yields Low Rates

The state of Georgia sold $685 million in general obligation bonds to fund new construction projects, including the new Georgia State University College of Law building and to repair and renovate existing facilities throughout the state.
