As the National Anthem played, construction workers hoisted a flag atop the new Georgia State University College of Law building Wednesday during a lunch “topping out” ceremony.

Georgia State University College of Law students are invited to compete in an art contest to decorate the construction fence at the college’s new building site, 85 Park Place. The contest is sponsored by site manager McCarthy Building Co. and carries a $1,500 award. Submissions will be accepted through 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6.
