Georgia State College of Law faculty and staff have been very busy in the last few weeks, while preparing for our move on June 22.
Last week about 1500 crates were delivered to the Urban Life building so we could begin packing our belongings. Books, files, folders you name it, everything must go! Each office… more »

Guess who has more plants and trees this week? Georgia State Law does at its new building. We are now down to 20 days before we move into our new building at 85 Park Place.

Time has flown by rather quickly when it comes to Georgia State Law’s new building at 85 Park Place. It seems like it was just yesterday, when I first laid eyes on a blueprint of the structure. My office was marked by a little rectangle outlined in pencil.

And then there were trees…
You know we are getting close to moving into the new building when the trees and shrubs go in. McCarthy Building Co. workers started planting trees around the perimeter of the new building late last week.

Among the obvious benefits the new building will provide for Georgia State Law students, there is one aspect that students and alumni will surely appreciate – new bathrooms. Seriously.

Everyone was excited to see the developments at 85 Park Place today. This location will serve as the new home for Georgia State Law.
